Weekend

Weekend was good, started early on Friday, met some friends to watch a local team play softball. Lots of fun, took our time driving to the eastern shore. Stopped by the outlets on the way. Had great food at a local restaurant. Saturday, up to see a friend in Wilmington DE. Spent the day there. Today, quick shopping at BJs warehouse in the morning, then my sisters family came to visit, then they went to pick up their daughter at the local airport. My nephew wanted to do some stitching while he was down, so I got a few stitches with him here, and I just stitched for a little while; while we were watching the last hour of The Reader. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Beading and a New Start

Hi,
Had a good weekend, pretty much spent it at home working around the house, yesterday some shopping at Walmart, for misc stuff. Today went to the travel trailer and made the bed and took down some supplies. When we came back had some lunch and I worked in my craft room. Fixed my co-workers badge holder, restrung and put some swivels for the big split ring. I fixed my black and white one with a smaller split ring. Going to see if I can find a split ring plier soon, I hope it helps on opening the split rings. Seems to by the look of them on the web. Here is a pic of my work for this week. I saw on giggleface studios the great pillows Tracey made for her couch. She let me know she found them at Joann's. I have been looking for bigger size pillow forms for a while. So...wha la...off I went they were buy one get one free. So another project completed a huge pillow for my niece. It is covered with horses. Thanks, love reading the needlework blogs.

Woo Hoo A Finish

Hi,
Just finished up the July Towel Leisure Arts Handy Hand Towels thru the year / Design by Kathie Rueger. Worked on it after dinner, chicken, rice and corn on the cob. Gave it a quick pressing and here a pic! Hope you all had a great weekend and were able to stitch. Tomorrow to work on Nuts Stitch Here, til then....

4 hours of stitching

Hi,
Went to the local stitching group today and had a good time. There were about 12 ladies there stitching. It was great, I worked on the July towel....some cross stitch but mostly back stitching, hope to finish it soon. I probably have another 2 hours to go.....Hope you were able to do some stitching. This week

has been good. Only 4 days at work and a long weekend. Since starting the july towel, i am about 75 percent done. Working on it a little during the week and this weekend. Hope to have a finish soon. Been doing things around the house this weekend. Nothing really to report, just enjoying the time off. Have a great day! Hope you enjoyed your 4th.
