Finally Finished

Hi,
I was determined this weekend to get this done. So it is finally cross stitched and finished. It came with a frame but I chose to finish as a "little pillow" to hang up. It is called Stone Path Studio Tuscan Cottage by Dimensions. I backed with the green fabric that came with the kit to frame it.  I am so happy it is done.

Hmmmm.......

Hi,

Told you I needed WDW for my alligator. So today I go to the LNS near me. Looking on the rack.....hmmm no Cactus. So I ask at the counter they need to order for me.

So...........I ordered it - - now will wait for it to come in . Still working on the dimensions kit. Will post a pic this weekend of my progress. Slow going this week. Need to put stitches in it to complete it.

On the right side of my blog, I put the link to the TED video of Jamie Mr X stitch Chalmers. Very interesting talk. I do kits and charts however if for some reason I miss a stitch and I dont catch it I continue on.

Knitting and some stitching

Hi,

Been doing some knitting of scarf.

Worked on my alligator towel but ran out of WDW cactus over dye. Was planning on picking it up after work but had to work later due to a meeting. Hopefully I will get some this week. Last night after I ran out of thread on the alligator I picked up  a UFO.

 I Hope to work on this until I can get back to my alligator. Not much left to do but  need to stick to my plan on stitching every day even if its just for a few minutes.

Huck Towel Finish

Crafting

Hi,

Working on my Huck embroidery towel, about 1/2 done.  One of my pine mountain pillows needed a form that fit it so I made that today. Also wood glued a basket top that had a split in it. Also knitting a scarf. Spent Friday with friends brunch then hung out for the rest of the day at their house. Pizza for dinner.  Yesterday we played WOW and did some chores, nothing exciting. Watched part of  the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, I plan on watching the whole movie when it comes back on. Off the the grocery store.  Hope you enjoyed your weekend. Until next time. Sue n MD.

Wrapping it up

Hi,

Not much cross stitching down this year. Just two finished ornaments.

 Been knitting "ruffle" scarfs. Recently started a Huck embroidery towel that I had in my stash. About a 1/5 though the pattern. Had to look at YouTube to ensure that I was stitching it correctly. Doing that now. When I started I was going through the fabric instead of on top of it. I will finish this one, but have not seen another pattern I like. This is a pic I found of the kit. Will post mine when completed.
