Heart of Hearts Bent Creek

Hi, Started stitching Heart of Hearts Bent Creek on Dec 27th 2015 and put the last stiches in it to today January 25th 2016. First finish of the year. Off today due to the Blizzard Jonas of 2016. Our street is still not plowed they did come by during the storm and made a loop in our dead end. Now waiting for them to come back and do another pass. We were able to dig out yesterday with the help (YAY) snow blower. We had about 20 inches on our driveway. Not much else been going on been reading. Reading my third book this year. Husband is playing Fallout 4. Hope you all are doing well and are doing what you like to do. Take Care,

A little bit of Progress

Hi,
Haven't been stitching everyday like I want to. Have had a cough and just have been taking care of me and things around the house. Today I stitched for a little more than an hour and here is my progress on the New Jersey lighthouses.. Had to do some flogging since I looked at a symbol and I thought it was another. Only had to take out about 30 stitches. Today the weather was snow just a 1/2 inch and then freezing rain. If cold in the morning, I hope they delay going into work. Stitchy Update

Hi,

Been stitching. My LNS called and I picked up the WDW Cactus. I was good only picked up that and no more stash. Finished up my alligator that weekend in January. He hangs in my kitchen. Love that he is done.




The second Saturday in February attended a pot luck with some local stitches. Spent a few hours with them. I worked on the Jersey Light Houses. Here is where I am today as I stitch. Today was an unexpected snow day from work. Worked out, shoveled the driveway, placed some WOW and now in my stitching room stitching. Listening to Janet Evanovich One for the Money. I really enjoy stitching while listening to a book.  Hope all is well with you. Hope you are warm and able to stitch.

Finally Finished

Hi,
I was determined this weekend to get this done. So it is finally cross stitched and finished. It came with a frame but I chose to finish as a "little pillow" to hang up. It is called Stone Path Studio Tuscan Cottage by Dimensions. I backed with the green fabric that came with the kit to frame it.  I am so happy it is done.

Hmmmm.......

Hi,

Told you I needed WDW for my alligator. So today I go to the LNS near me. Looking on the rack.....hmmm no Cactus. So I ask at the counter they need to order for me.

So...........I ordered it - - now will wait for it to come in . Still working on the dimensions kit. Will post a pic this weekend of my progress. Slow going this week. Need to put stitches in it to complete it.

On the right side of my blog, I put the link to the TED video of Jamie Mr X stitch Chalmers. Very interesting talk. I do kits and charts however if for some reason I miss a stitch and I dont catch it I continue on.
