This weekend stitching update
This weekend we have been working on maintenance on the camper, doing things around the house and keeping track on the flooding at Splash Magic campground. Te flooding is horrible at the campground we were just up there over the Labor day weekend and had a great time. It is hard to imagine the devastation of the campground amenities
Today we walked around the Catonsville Arts and Crafts fair. I really enjoy walking around this fair.
On to stitching, I spent my time that I have stitching in Bicycle delivery. It is coming along. Til next time. Sue n MD

Two finishes
Hi,
Been trying to stitch every night, so here we have two finishes. JBW French Country Dog and a Kreinik Happy Jack Freebie. I started the French Country Dog - earlier this year. The Kreinik Happy Jack was a UFO for many, many years. I finished it up this weekend while we were camping. The French Country Dog was finished before we left but I did not post about it.
Camping was great this weekend up in Central PA with my sister and a bunch of friends they know up there. Good time had by all. I have been working on the Dimensions Stone Path Bicycle Delivery and Nuts Stitch Here by Trail Creek Farm.
Today at work, I made working copies of the two next projects. I have decided only to have two going at a time, one on aida and one on linen. It has been working out great. I have decided to work on one of them each night....at least put a few stitches in them and it has been great to be stitching again, consistently.

Finish and getting back to JBW French Dog
Hi, Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Ours has been quiet, chores around the house, errands around town and out to lunch today with friends. This weekend I finished up stitching Road Trip and made a back which I will stitch together when I find my thread twister drill for the hanger. Going to hang this up in the camper. Now working on the JBW Dog in Cherry Wine, will pull out a UFO/WIP to do when I am not in the mood to stitch on linen. I need my magnifiers, but the more I stitch the more I can tell that I am putting the stitch in the wrong place. (practice, practice, practice).
When I was visiting my sister she recommended A Dogs Purpose, A novel for humans, W. Bruce Cameron. I got it out of our library. I am enjoying it so far. Here are picture of my finish and JDW Dog. Thanks for stopping by,

Stitching and Piecemaker Needles
A little bit of stitching tonight. After work today came home and cut the grass. After dinner, located some shoes I was looking for and organized my current WIP. I got the table out and sat on the couch and stitched. Finished up the truck pulling the camper and worked on the rivers. OH joy....good to stitch....had to blog about it. Also the last time I went to the LNS TSP, I picked up a pack of Piecemaker needles....I have always loved the Anchor needles...but the Piecemaker have a better feel to them Will pick up the small size, next time I go. If you haven't tried them I recommend them. Well, I hope to finish the roads tomorrow or in a few days. I am going out to dinner tomorrow night and grocery shopping on Thursday.

Sunday uP Date
A little bit of stitching.....but have not been able to concentrate onit. This weekend has has lots of ups and downs. Our dog has been sick we took her to the specialist last Thursday who did an xray and endospy. She ended up having surgery. On Saturday she had complications, so she was not doing well. Today was a bit better still not out of the woods yet....day by day. We are not in the mood to visit or talk to anyone....trying to have our hopes up for our dog.
On the stitchy note: started Road Trip last weekend and did about a 1/2 hour today....here is where it is. It is on 32 count so I need some maginification so I keep the stitches correct. Hope to work on it some tomorrow if I feel like it.

Day 2 of the January Challenge
Today I started French Country Dog by JBW designs on 32 count linen and Sampler Threads Cherry Wine. I had a rough start, first had to re thread my Serger to sew down the linen edges. I try and do that before I start stitching on linen. Then started to stitch on 32 count. Yesterday I was stitching on 10 count, big difference, but I love how its looking and stitching motif to motif. Watched the Winter Classic Hockey Game last night ~ Pens Vs Caps! Go Caps!
