FFO
Hi
Finished Thirst Aid Kit by Sam Sarah. Was a kit I bought at the Stitching Post here in Maryland. It was stitched on 30 count washed linen and WDW. It is a bag for gifting a bottle of wine. I thought it was cute and I will use to bring bottles when I go visit. Started it on Feb 5 and Finished Feb 11. Finished Stitching it today and put it together. I had to go get more of the WDW since it did not come with enough for the stitching. I picked them up last weekend. Along with two more sets of 5 inch and 7 inch stretcher bars. Not much else new today. Been knitting with the yarn Flick Flack that I ordered from Salty Yarns. Enjoy knitting those scarfs I get compliments from coworkers. Since I saw that it was discontinued I ordered two of each color Salty Yarns had left. Thanks Sara. Hope everyone can stitch. Here is a pic of the FFO. Until next time,

Out with Stitchy Friends
Hi,
I was out with stitchy friends yesterday for a few hours. They meet up on Saturdays at a local church. Sandy and I haven't been in a long time due to weather and family obligations. It was great to stich yesterday with friends who have the same interest. I worked on Pine Mountain Winter Typography by Sandra Workman since it is in 14 count. Here is what I got done yesterday. Other stitching news is I was planning on competing Shepherd Bush Spooky Stitches, but not yet Maybe In February. Been enjoying flosstube. Thanks Flosstubers you make my elliptical time enjoyable. I have been watching as I exercise. Hope you all get a chance to stitch.
Til next time, Sue in MD.

A Stitching Finish - not yet finally finished
Hi,
Was Snowing here in Maryland today. Doing laundry and was determined to finish this weekend. This is a Graph of the Month - August/September 2014 named Four Crabs Pyn Pillow by Jeannette Douglas Designs. This was a kit to make a biscornu- Stitched on 32 Meadow Mist linen using the following Classic Colorworks Honeycomb, Crab Cakes and Caribbean Waters. Black beads from my stash were used for the eyes as recommended. I took the first picture and realized I was missing three stitches and the eyes. Then took the second picture actually stitched finished. I have not put together a biscornu before so I signed up for a class at my LNS. If they don't have it I will look up how to finish into a biscornu. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and able to do some stitching.Til next time,
