A Stitching Finish - not yet finally finished

Was Snowing here in Maryland today. Doing laundry and was determined to finish this weekend. This is a Graph of the Month - August/September 2014 named Four Crabs Pyn Pillow by Jeannette Douglas Designs. This was a kit to make a biscornu- Stitched on 32 Meadow Mist linen using the following Classic Colorworks Honeycomb, Crab Cakes and Caribbean Waters. Black beads from my stash were used for the eyes as recommended. I took the first picture and realized I was missing three stitches and the eyes. Then took the second picture actually stitched finished. I have not put together a biscornu before so I signed up for a class at my LNS. If they don't have it I will look up how to finish into a biscornu. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and able to do some stitching.Til next time,

Little bit of Stitching

Have done a little bit of Stitching. since I post last I read Into the Wild that was recommended by my BIL. It was a good read, interesting since I have visited some of the places that were written about in the book.  Now reading Bruce Springsteen book Born to Run. Yesterday we spent the day at one of my sisters house. Her in-laws had a birthday party for her. today we got up watched St Vincent again while eating breakfast and did a little bit of stitching. The rest of the day have been doing chores all around the house today. Thought I would stop in and say hi from Maryland. Hope you are able to stitch today. Til Next Time, Sue n MD.

The weather has turned to cooler temputures and back inside. Working on Falling Leaves. Went to the Stitching Post and picked up the needed floss and aida on Sunday. Last night stitched for two hours and completed one of the leaves. Not much is new.... this past spring we drove cross country to CA, and spent the summer weekends up at camp.
