Just a little FFOing

 Hi,

Hope you all had Happy Thanksgiving. Ours was good, spent with family. Some stitching was done the month of November, but I spent a lot of time playing video games. Some reading was done also. Yesterday (Dec 5) I FFO'ed two stitches that I had finished a long time ago.

Merry Christmas

Not much else is going on in my little world. Loving being retired.

September_October Update

 Hi,

It has been a couple of months since I posted. This has been a productive time for us. End of camping season in Central PA  - Halloween weekend and then - winterized camper.  Did little stitching but started and finished the Stitch and Zip SZ122Sunflower Alice Peterson (1999). Started August 29 2022 and finished 31 Oct 2022. Put the backing fabric on the stitches today.

Sometime during the month of September I FFO'ed the Snapper from Bent Creek Road Trip into a small pillow. That I stitched in 2011.

I hope to FFO more projects so that they dont languish in  the completed project box.

Have a great day

Hope you are able to stitch.

What a Find Dimensions Hope Ornament Cardinal

 Hi,

My sister and her husband and my husband and I went on a trip to the Finger Lakes for Labor Day weekend.  We were looking for a place for breakfast in Bath NY. On the restaurant window was an advertisement for a Church rummage sale. We went to check it our and a bag was for a dollar. I found three card games, a whole bunch of aida scraps, a few aida pieces and some waste canvas.

When I looked through the pile of aida some had stitched 99% of this pattern (needed the beak finished and the French knot for the eye). I finished stitching yesterday (6 Sept 2022) and FFO'ed it today. I also used Vonna Pfeiffer's tutorial on making your own labels for the back. I made a label with the abbreviated tale above.

What a find. Glad I was able to rescue!

Another Series I am working on for 2022

 Hi,

Hope you all are well and doing some stitching. We have had some very cold weather. I started a series for 2022 the JABCO Just Another Button Company Teapots, Teacups and Teaspoons. I have completed the January Teapot Jan 5-31 and the teaspoon Jan 23-Feb 15.

I am stitching the Teapots and Teacups on the suggested 30 ct fabric and the teaspoons I am stitching on 18 count Perforated paper so they can be put out each month with the Teapot and Teacup.  I have converted the threads to DMC.

Not much else is new. Trying to stay healthy.

Hope you are able to stitch,
