Stitching Update

Hi,
Finished reorganizing my stash today and labeling the containers. Lots of stash but I am glad it is done. Now on to the stitching. Worked around the house today. Did some stitching here is an updated pic. This coming week is work and some doctors appointments. Off to the camper for the weekend. Til next time, Sue n MD

Reorganizing My Craft Room

Hi,
Been a while been stitching very little on Enjoy the Ride. Each weekend we have spending time at the campground and that has been fun. We decided to stay home this weekend. I have been spending this Saturday doing chores around the house and trying to organize my craft room. Last night we  stopped to pick up essentials and some plastic containers for helping organize my craft room. I wanted one for Mill Hill Projects, Floss, Fabric, Teapots/Teaspoon Designs, Hoops/Qsnaps, not sure what else for now. Been busy since 1000. Sitting down with a cold drink and thought I would take a break. It is nice to see all the stash and what I should be working on. Gonna stitch some tonight. Going through it makes me want to stitch. Sunday Update

Hi,
No stitching this long weekend. We went camping for the holiday. Lots of fun! Went to the pool, played card games, read and just hungout. On Thursday night we went to Oliran Hibachi Japanese Steak House with a bunch of friends at the campground.   Last night we went to Lickety Split Creamery for some Penn State Creamery Ice Cream. This is really good ice cream. 
Other than that not much new. Back to work tomorrow to make more camping dollars.

An Update

Hi,
No stitching of late, been doing things around the house this weekend. Friday spent the afternoon with friends on the eastern shore. Around 1130 on Friday we lost power until 7pm on Saturday night. Saturday was a day to stay home and do some cleaning/going through stuff to donate. We also played a new card game Oz Fluxx....so much fun. I am a big fan of the Wizard of Oz.  Today we went shopping in the morning to see if we could purchase a kayak. We did not buy one but did some shopping for things we need at home and the camper.
Laundry is almost done. The rest of the house is neater.

Going's on

Hi,
Last weekend I spent the weekend at Salty Yarns Beach Retreat. Great fun. We took most of Friday driving down to OC, Maryland. Breakfast, Queenstown Outlets, Easton, OC Walmart on the way. Friday we checked in, enjoyed the dinner and then appetizers and desserts. Saturday, stitching on the front porch til lunch then went to lunch with some friends at Shenanigan's. Really good lunch. Becky who was with us pointed out an error in the menu...we had a great time talking about that. The restaurant we heard fixed the error.  In the afternoon walked down to Spring fest and walked around. We are glad we saw Spring fest, neither of us have been before. We both bought mini flags.  Back to Salty Yarns to stitch and chat until we walked back down to Shenanigans for Crab Soup and Crab Dip. Up to our room for stitching for the rest of the night. Sunday, up for breakfast, stitching until 11 in our room, checked out and drove home. Lunch was at Chipotle in Easton.
This weekend we spent Friday with some friends, eating and play board games. Saturday and Sunday doing things around the house and some local errands. Finished reading Betrayal and now reading Threadbare. Enjoying our weekend. Some stitching, I will show the progess of last weekend and this weekend soon.

Some sewing

Hi all,
Its been a while. Today I made time to do some sewing that I have wanted to do for a while. I made seven q snap covers. Three for 8 in and four 6 in. I enjoyed making them. Set up my cutting table in the living room and sewing in our craft room. Also we made some inserts for a tray we have wanted to line for a while. Here are the pics of today creations.  I also serged the edges of  my next two cross stitch projects. I hope to stitch soon. On Friday I met up with some girlfriends to chat and help sew a dress for her daughters formal dance she was to attend on Saturday night. It was great fun to get together.
