Another Block and its Finished

Hi,
Finished up the fourth block today. Blockheads are finished. Here is a pic....

Today we finished up laundry, cut the lawn, and took care of our "sick" dog. She is getting better. She has been sick all week, vet, specialist and emergency vet (where she stayed for two days). Back on Wed, husband stayed home on Thursday, I stayed home yesterday. No stitching yesterday....just reading and some work. Today I started a new book, Sunset Summer at Seaside Cove by Jacquie D'Alessandro.
Trying to determine what I will stitch next. Wanted to start Road Trip, but I dont think I have all the speciality threads. trip to LNS will be inorder if I dont.

Wishing you a Happy New Year

Hi,
Been a long time since posting.
I pulled 15 projects for the January Challenge today I started Pine Mountain Block Heads Snowmen.
Also have been reading the Sookie Stackhouse novels author Charlaine Harris. Currently reading the second book. I really like the series.

I will post pics of the stitching I have completed recently, haven't been stitching much but I plan to in 2011.

Cant come up with a title for post!

This weekend we spent at my sister house, playing video games, reading and shopping. We went to the Days of Knights Game Store. If you are looking for board games that is the place to go. Lots of great strategy board games. We stopped at Marshall's also in Newark and what a nice Marshalls lots of stock and well organized. Today is Labor Day and we are doing chores around the house and doing some reading, not sure if I will get the stitching mojo today. It is overcast and kinda gloomy outside. Mending, Reading, Housework, Movies

Happy Easter!
Just a quick note, no stitching of late, been reading some, housework and some mending. Sewed two new patches on my BIL jean jacket, replacing others. Mended a fleece sleeping bag. Reading a little, catching up on our Netflix movies and housework....getting ready for spring, cleaning up, clearing out....Had a great day yesterday with one of my sisters family, little shopping, eating out and just hanging out...lots of fun. Have stitching to do and more sewing, my nephew asked me about his pillow yesterday...havent put it together yet. Lots of Dr's appointments this past week. Well I will go for now,

A little Stitching and Reading

Cold day today.....went to work...then home. Made dinner, did some reading and a few stitches in The crab is in. Watching TV.....dial flipping on the inaugural balls, hockey and the biggest loser.

Happenings

Been stitching a little this weekend. A few hours at the LNS which had a stitching night went with my best stitching friend. Fun seeing all the stitching being done. I worked on the crab is in. ONe of the stitchers had completed it recently and told me to stitch around the letters so they stood out more. I did that yesterday when I went to my sisters. My sister and I did some shopping, didnt buy much...nothing we needed from the sales. This morning finished up the book Bloody Mary...if you like murder and police stories these are for you...very graphic on the murders. I am in the midst of baking cookies, reading the next in the series Rusty Nail and doing laundry. Hope to get to some stitching this afternoon. Enjoy!

Stitching

Hi,
Able to stitch this weekend and a happy dance. I completed the mill hill Gingerbread Man. He is a gift for a good friend of mine. I am also stitching another Mill Hill for a present. I have not finished it....working on it though to get it done. Seems like if I have a goal, I stitch..... Also by reading the stitching blogs and seeing what others are stitching gets me motivated to stitch. Last night some shopping for the week, errands. This weekend the Christmas tree was decorated on Sunday, it is up and putting us in the Christmas mood. Hope all are enjoying getting ready for the holidays. Can't believe it is almost here. Not Stitching but Organizing and Reading

Hi,
This weekend, was able to organize some of my stash, mostly putting my charts in a file folder by category. Also finished Stephanie Meyer's The Ecilipse and started reading Breaking Dawn. Also attended the Catonsville Arts and Crafts Festival today. Walked the whole festival and had a crab cake sandwich for lunch. Was a good weekend. Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Reading and Stitching

Finished up reading Nineteen Minutes....really enjoyed the book. Going into my WIP to pick something out to stitch for a while tonight. Feel like I need to get back to stitching again.
