Finished September Handy Towel

 Hi,

I stitched the September Handy Towel Leisure Arts by Kathie Rueger. I stitched this towel from 12 Aug -3 Sep 2020. I was hoping to finish before the end of August but it was Sept. I have had these towels in my stash for a long time and decided this and next year I will get them all stitched. I still like all the designs. Things are well with us. Still social distancing unless we need to go out for supplies. I hope you all are doing well.

Until next time, hope you can stitch. Sue in DE

A Stitching Finish - not yet finally finished

Hi,
Was Snowing here in Maryland today. Doing laundry and was determined to finish this weekend. This is a Graph of the Month - August/September 2014 named Four Crabs Pyn Pillow by Jeannette Douglas Designs. This was a kit to make a biscornu- Stitched on 32 Meadow Mist linen using the following Classic Colorworks Honeycomb, Crab Cakes and Caribbean Waters. Black beads from my stash were used for the eyes as recommended. I took the first picture and realized I was missing three stitches and the eyes. Then took the second picture actually stitched finished. I have not put together a biscornu before so I signed up for a class at my LNS. If they don't have it I will look up how to finish into a biscornu. I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and able to do some stitching.Til next time,

Finish and getting back to JBW French Dog

Hi, Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Ours has been quiet, chores around the house, errands around town and out to lunch today with friends. This weekend I finished up stitching Road Trip and made a back which I will stitch together when I find my thread twister drill for the hanger. Going to hang this up in the camper. Now working on the JBW Dog in Cherry Wine, will pull out a UFO/WIP to do when I am not in the mood to stitch on linen. I need my magnifiers, but the more I stitch the more I can tell that I am putting the stitch in the wrong place. (practice, practice, practice).
When I was visiting my sister she recommended A Dogs Purpose, A novel for humans, W. Bruce Cameron. I got it out of our library. I am enjoying it so far. Here are picture of my finish and JDW Dog. Thanks for stopping by,

Another Block and its Finished

Hi,
Finished up the fourth block today. Blockheads are finished. Here is a pic....

Today we finished up laundry, cut the lawn, and took care of our "sick" dog. She is getting better. She has been sick all week, vet, specialist and emergency vet (where she stayed for two days). Back on Wed, husband stayed home on Thursday, I stayed home yesterday. No stitching yesterday....just reading and some work. Today I started a new book, Sunset Summer at Seaside Cove by Jacquie D'Alessandro.
Trying to determine what I will stitch next. Wanted to start Road Trip, but I dont think I have all the speciality threads. trip to LNS will be inorder if I dont.

A little Finish...Finish

Hi,
Been busy the past two weekends working around the house...cleaning, laundry, declutting, decorating for Halloween, watching movies and some stitching. Yesterday was Halloween, we gave out candy, even though it rained/sprinkled a few times. We had about 50 children come to the door. This morning, I put the finishing stitches on BOO ...a day late but done. Working on Wall E now...just a small project. Watched
